Creating A Climate Resilient Garden – 14 March 2026

Delivered in partnership with York Supplies, this introductory workshop will give you plenty of helpful knowledge and practical tips for supporting a beautiful, more climate-resilient garden that thrives from the soil up. During the workshop we will cover:

• Getting to know the life in your soil and how a thriving soil ecosystem is key to healthy plants and less watering
• How mimicking natural processes builds resilience to drought and heavy rainfall
• Taking inspiration from natural systems when designing and managing your garden
• Making the best use of your garden waste materials, including how to confidently make high quality homemade compost

Wormery Workshop @ the Planet, Pizza & Play Festival – Saturday 28 March

We will be running a wormery compost drop-in and a wormery workshop at the Planet, Pizza & Play Festival – a joyful community festival bringing together food, nature, creativity and practical sustainability for families.

This free event is part of the Building Greener Communities partnership and is all about empowering individuals and families to take small, everyday sustainable actions – in a fun way!
